The Michelin Guide's review
Erected in 1845 by local master builder Genco Mladenov, the house boasts a harmonious symmetrical façade. The interior features ornamental carvings and, on the upper floor, a magnificent circular drawing room containing a few objects (loom and spinning wheel for weaving and spinning wool) and an exhibition devoted to the author of the Blood Letter: Todor Kableskov. The main leader of the 1876 uprising against the Turkish authorities, he was captured and committed suicide in Gabrovo's prison.
