The Michelin Guide's review
Kopaonik is the largest mountain range in Serbia, Ravni its highest crest and Pančićev its highest peak. It has a subalpine climate and 200 days of sunshine a year, earning it the nickname "Sun Mountain". The name Kopaonik refers to the many mines (lead and zinc) in the region, but the massif is best known for its vast ski area and hotel and restaurant complex.
