The Michelin Guide's review
The island of Biševo, the second largest in the Vis archipelago, is famous for its Blue Grotto, so called because of the almost supernatural light which suffuses the water from a side entrance beneath the surface. It can be reached only by boat. The colour of the water is best seen at midday. Long excursions also include a trip to a pleasant beach dotted with small tavernas.
