The Michelin Guide's review
The museum, devoted to Tadanori Yokoo (born in 1936), the "Andy Warhol" of Japan, covers two floors, each of which with very distinct collections. The first-floor features work on the war theme, so dear to the artist, while pop culture takes precedence on the second floor. In original and sometimes voluntarily provocative settings, posters, collages, illustrations, videos and paintings by this atypical artist and graphist, catch the eye by their flashy colours, exuberant shapes and daring content.
