The Michelin Guide's review
Ko Libong is a refuge for thousands of birds, while its beaches and shoreline are teeming with shells. Jungle occupies a large part of the island, punctuated by rubber plantations which provide islanders with some of their income, along with fishing. Ko Libong isn't the best place in Thailand for a beach holiday, however its fishing villages, the superb orange hue of its mountains, as well as the friendly welcome given to tourists make it a popular choice for visitors, who can enjoy the gentle rhythm of island life here.
