  The Michelin Guide's review
Discovered as a result of marble quarrying in the Snieznik mountain massif, this is one of Poland's finest caves, with almost 2km of huge chambers, narrow passages and forests of stalactites. The finest accretions resemble drapery, notably an 8m-high cascade-like calcite example. Animal bones have been found here, including an imposing bear's skeleton dating from the glacial period.
