The Michelin Guide's review
Built above the Humber Valley, this gallery features one of the largest collections of work by the Group of Seven, considered the first Canadian school of art to paint the country's landscapes and colors in a totally novel manner. The collection is the fruit of successive donations by Robert and Signe McMichael, the former owners of the house. Contemporary works and examples of Inuit art, including some superb lithographies and sculpture are also displayed.
