The Michelin Guide's review
This museum, which was refurbished in 2013, is dedicated to the history and current affairs of the Kirkcaldy region. You can see over 100 000 pieces and artefacts here, in particular Wemyss Ware hand-painted pottery with traditional motifs of flowers, fruit and bird. Upstairs is a collection of artworks, temporary exhibitions, works by William McTaggart and paintings by colourist SJ Peploe. The library on the ground floor is open to the public.
