The Michelin Guide's review
Typical of the Loyalist riverbank settlements, Kings Landing village provides an authentic glimpse into life in the region from 1783 to 1900. After the War of Independence, the land on which the village stands was given to veterans of the King's American Dragoons. When the Mactaquac dam project flooded their original sites, most of the houses and other buildings were moved here. In addition to well-restored farms, the village has a school, forge, general store and theatre.
