Elcho Castle
Michelin Guide
The Michelin Guide's review
Overlooking the Tay, the family residence of the counts of Wemyss is said to have occupied the site of an old fortress. Built in the late 16C, the main building has towers that are habitable. Above the walls there is an interesting composition mixing pediments, scroll window frames, towers, gables and chimney stacks.
