The Michelin Guide's review
The tombstones (to the left) mark the location of an abbey founded in the 6C. The doorway of the ruined church dates from the 12C or the 13C. The tomb of Turlough O'Carolan (or Turlough Carolan - 1670-1738) is located in the transept. He was a blind harpist who also composed poems and songs. One of his songs, originally called Anacreon in the sky , was adopted in 1931 by the United States as their national anthem.
