These three 16 and 17C merchant's houses are named after their most famous owner, Peter Rothe, who was a member of the Kilkenny Confederation. Today it houses the local museum which exhibits a wide range of ancient everyday objects, souvenirs related to Irish nationalism and a fine collection of lacework and period costumes.
