The Michelin Guide's review
In the Tully estate, designed at the behest of Lord Wavertree in 1906, these Japanese gardens are among the loveliest in Europe. Created by Japanese gardener Tassa Eida and his son Minoru, they represent the journey of a soul through life, each stage corresponding to the different ages and events, both happy and unhappy, in the course of a human life.
