The Michelin Guide's review
At the foothills of the Knuckles range, the VVR (Victoria Randenigala Rantembe) Reserve is the country's largest nature park and is fed by three reservoirs. These artificial lakes (a godsend for the local aquatic and wildlife) were laid out by three men after whom they are named, hence the park's name. Herds of elephants can occasionally be seen in the park.
