The Michelin Guide's review
Also called Burrunggui, the imposing rocky massif of Kakadu National Park, whose escarpments offer an abundance of natural shelters, has been regularly occupied by the Aborigines during the last 20 000 years. It has one of the park's most impressive concentrations of rock paintings. An easy pathway takes you around the most important works. The site also affords a superb view of the region. There are several short hikes in the vicinity.
