The Michelin Guide's review
Built on the foundations of the city, this historic neighbourhood takes its name from Christiansborg Palace, seat of executive, legislative and judicial powers. It houses the Viking treasures of the National Museum. Slotsholmen also illustrates the talent of the Danes to combine their heritage with contemporary architecture, as evidenced by the Black Diamond, a contemporary extension of the Royal Library, and the very latest addition: Blox, which (for starters) houses the Danish Architecture Centre.
