Exotic buildings, flower arrangements, fairy-tale castles and Venetian lights at night create the magic of Tivoli Gardens amusement park, a stone's throw from the town hall. Since it opened in 1843, it has become Denmark's most visited attraction, not least by the people of Copenhagen: it is their favourite spot for a stroll or to come and have a go at the various activities.
