The Michelin Guide's review
On this square stands Vor Frue Kirke (Church of Our Lady), a Neoclassical cathedral built in 1829 based on CF Hansen's design. The interior is adorned with sculptures by Bertel Thorvaldsen. The university buildings, with busts of eminent academics in front, occupy the right-hand side of the square, overlooked by the main building, built at the same time as the cathedral. The Church of St Peter with its tall 16C tower stands on the opposite side of Nørregade, on the corner of Skt Peders Stræde.
