The Michelin Guide's review
This 16C château, with its main building surrounded by moats on three sides, owes its name to its lovely gardens, which delighted many a distinguished guest. A formal garden, terraces of medicinal and aromatic plants, an orchard with more than 70 varieties, a labyrinth of greenery and a romantic park are conducive to strolling about. The superbly restored château itself is also worth seeing, especially its large hall with five monumental bays that has become an exhibition space.
