The Michelin Guide's review
The life and family heritage of LBJ (1908-73) is portrayed in exhibits at the Visitor Center. The LBJ Boyhood Home has been restored to its 1920 appearance and furnished with family heirlooms. The Johnson Settlement preserves the tiny log home and outbuildings of cattle rancher Sam Johnson and his brother, Tom, in the 1860s.
