The Michelin Guide's review
At the foot of a hill, the Ceramic Centre is spread over an 83ha area dedicated to porcelain; it also boasts numerous Ming and Qing buildings, as well as a few remains of the old kilns. Dafudi House exhibits works by some of the most famous artists of the day. In the middle of a large artificial lake, the bandstand resounds to the unusual sound of an orchestra consisting entirely of instruments made from blue and white porcelain. The Jingdezhen kiln (960-1279) has been restored and is now in use once again.
