The Michelin Guide's review
Maisan means "horse ear mountain" and, indeed, you walk at the foot of a pair of magnificent peaks to get from Unsu Temple to Tap Temple. The enclosure of the former has a magnificent 18m-high pear tree with a 3m circumference. The path that goes down to Tap Temple is beautiful. Surrounded by fabulous pagodas organised like stone concretions placed one on top of the other, without cement, the mineral universe of Tap Temple is unusual, to say the least.
