The Michelin Guide's review
With its nearly 430 different species of birds, Ndumo is the country's richest ornithological sanctuary. The wet plains and marshy areas in the reserve, compared by some to the Okavango delta, supply abundant food for black egrets, pygmy geese, white-headed ducks, Guinea fowl and fishing owls. Ndumo is also the kingdom of hippos and crocodiles. You may also catch a glimpse of giraffes, zebras, little "suni" antelopes, and black and white rhinos.
