The Michelin Guide's review
The seven Jain temples of Jaisalmer, built in yellow sandstone like the fort's other buildings, are home to a vast array of magnificent white marble sculptures. Particularly striking are the tirthankara, dancers and animals which adorn the walls and ceilings of the Adinatha and Chandra Prabhu temples. In the latter, built in the first years of the 16C, note the dome decorated with images of the Hindu god Ganesha and with mithuna (entwined lovers).
