The Michelin Guide's review
A byword for luxury in Brussels, this major street's shop windows (galleries, Place Stéphanie) attract a smart crowd. Opened in 1864 to link the centre to La Cambre, it is named after Leopold III's eldest daughter. Fans of Victor Horta will note the Hôtel Solvay, a mansion from 1894 (at no 224), designed in its entirety by the architect.
