From Sør Fron, Peer Gyntveien brings you to the vicinity of Lillehammer. Named after the hero of Ibsen's drama, in which part of the action takes place in the region, this narrow scenic road (which is difficult, if not impossible, to pass in winter!) affords superb views of the mountains of Jotunheimen and Rondane.
