Hronsek Articular Church, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is one of the most valuable wooden architectural monuments in the country. It was built in 1726 to a centred floor plan. Its splendid organs, the work of the master Martin Podkonicky, date from 1764, as does its altar. Not far away there stands a magnificent bell tower, also made of wood.
