Founded in 1909 by the Houston Museum and Scientific Society, this museum, rich in treasures, organizes outstanding temporary exhibitions, boasts an attractive museum layout and stages a host of interesting activities. There is something for everyone inside its walls! Spread over four floors, the museum spans natural science, life on earth, space exploration and also history (Ancient Egypt) and anthropology.
