The Michelin Guide's review
Hot Springs' therapeutic waters have been attracting visitors for hundreds, perhaps thousands, of years. Extraordinarily pure water from the springs is heated thousands of feet below the earth's surface, and bubbles up through faults in the underlying sandstone at a constant 143°F. The warm water flows from 47 springs at the average total rate of 850,000 gallons per day.
