The Ernest Coe Visitor Center offers interactive exhibits designed to educate visitors about the Everglades and the environmental crises confronting this ecosystem. The "Spotter Scopes" section provides a unique opportunity to view an array of wading birds (roseate spoonbills, reddish egrets, little blue herons, among other species) on a screen. Information is also available with regard to activities in the park.
