  The Michelin Guide's review
This house, dating from the late 18C, is a symbol of the diversity of the peoples who lived in Hoi An when the town was a major maritime crossroads. Its architecture shows Chinese (balcony), Japanese (roof) and Vietnamese (frame) influences. This example of a cultural melting-pot is also evident in other buildings that you will come across as you explore the old town.
