The Green Guide
The Michelin Guide's review
Managed by the Nature Conservancy, this 30ha reserve boasts the largest limestone terrace on the Atlantic coast, stretching for nearly 1.6km along the shoreline. It is full of cracks through which water comes gushing out during high tides, creating impressive spray. West Indian manatees, great blue herons, osprey, brown pelicans and sea turtles populate the mangroves, tropical and oak hammocks, coastal shoreline and beach dunes. There is also a swimming area.
