The Michelin Guide's review
This building embodies the austere simplicity of Nordic classicism: four peristyles, each with six Corinthian columns surmounted by a pediment bearing three apostles in acroterions, make up the four porches. The peristyle overlooking the Senate Square is preceded by high steps added in 1852. The sobriety of the interior is typical of Protestant style: only the curved organ, the altarpiece, the pulpit and the statues of Luther, Melanchton and Michael Agricola stand out from the stark white walls.
