The Michelin Guide's review
The grandiose Troumouse cirque (crater) in the Upper Pyrenees is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The crater is carpeted in meadows and enclosed by an almost unbroken rampart of mountains at a height of 3,000m/9,842ft and a diameter of 10km/6.2mi. The highest point is Pic de la Munia (alt. 3,133m/10,278ft), identifiable by the remains of its hanging glacier. Below this, on the left, are twinned rock pinnacles known as the "Two Sisters".
