Historical and archaeological site
  The Michelin Guide's review
The site evokes 50 000 years of Neuchâtel's history with archaeological finds, terrestrial and underwater, excavated here and elsewhere in the region. Among the treasures on show in the informative archaeological museum are finds from the nearby La Tène site (which has given its name to the late Iron Age). In the lakeside discovery park, various reconstructions include a tundra setting, a 6 000 year-old waterside village, plus a Cro-Magnon encampment.
