The Michelin Guide's review
A particularly fine half-timbered house (1558) with sculpted consoles depicting Biblical characters. Along with the house next door, this building is now home to the town's museum which tells the history of Hamelin and the region of Weserbergland, including the famous legend of the Pied Piper.
