An extension of Speicherstadt towards the south, this new district aims to be a model of sustainable development. By 2030, around 150ha will gradually be added to Hamburg's city centre, offering a mix of housing, offices, shops and restaurants, cultural and leisure spaces, associations and educational establishments. The area is well worth a visit, after firstly heading into the Hafen City Info Center, where you can learn more about the project and admire a large model of the development.
