The Michelin Guide's review
At the exit to the village of Hak Lam, 30km west of Dong Ha in the demilitarised zone, stands the Rockpile, a rocky peak which served as an observation base for the Americans during the course of the war. Many GIs were holed out in these caves, often having to exist completely self-sufficiently as supplies could only be delivered by helicopter.
