The Michelin Guide's review
Surrounded by a cemetery, this late 14C-early 15C church, which became part of an abbey in 1540, stands on the site of a smaller 12C edifice. It suffered greatly in the wake of numerous floods and wars. The nave was greatly altered in the 19C, and then the choir from 1971 to 1973. The southern window of the southern arm of the transept contains a stained-glass window by Burne-Jones. The Lauderdale lower side houses the 17C Lauderdale monument with its alabaster reclining figures.
