Moesgård Museum
The Green Guide
The Michelin Guide's review
The museum is housed in a building (2014) with a green roof designed by architect Henning Larsen to look half buried in the ground. It is dedicated to Danish prehistory, from the Stone Age to Viking times, and ethnography. You can see the Grauballe Man, who was found in a peat bog near the village of the same name and who is thought to have been a human sacrifice to a pagan god. The Iron Age weapons and Bronze Age funeral vestiges are also remarkable.
