Built on flat land, Gyula castle makes for an interesting visit, with bedrooms, reception and weapons' rooms, cellar and prison all open to the public. This 14C brick castle once consisted of a large complex with several enclosures, of which only the central section remains. In summer, the castle serves as a backdrop for plays, music concerts and dance performances.
