Namsan Park
The Green Guide
The Michelin Guide's review
A few kilometres south of Gyeongju, Namsan Park owes its renown to its 57 buddhas hewn out of the rock (maaebul) of its 35 valleys from the 7C, but also to its hermitages, temples, pagodas (64), tombs and pavilions scattered about the superb landscapes. Numerous paths, more or less well signposted, lead you around the park. You can also explore the foothills of the park by bicycle on the very quiet roads.
