The Michelin Guide's review
This brick Gothic basilica, built in 1335, owes its ornate decoration to the fact that it was temporarily the church of the court of the Dukes of Mecklenburg. Inside, the Güstrow Apostles, twelve oak wood figures by Claus Berg from Lübeck, c. 1530, are among the most striking masterpieces.
