The Michelin Guide's review
Following the acquisition of Louisiana by the United States, President Jefferson appointed a scientific mission to explore this new territory. This was headed by Meriwether Lewis, his personal secretary, and William Clark, a career soldier. This museum shines a light on this expedition, which lasted close to two and a half years and covered over 13 000km/8 125mi, as well as the Plains Indians who assisted him. A 30min film and interactive presentations retrace the travellers' odyssey.
