The Michelin Guide's review
Opposite the municipal GrazMuseum, this private mansion is undoubtedly the city's finest Baroque palace. Note the profuse decoration on its façades, with their pilasters, moulding and curvilinear window pediments in which a fire pot is set. The construction of Palais Attems was ordered by Count von Attems, and building continued from 1702 to 1716, on a spot previously occupied by six town houses and an obsolete city gate.
