  The Michelin Guide's review
This famous rune stone (2.5m high) was erected around 900 in memory of the son of a Viking chief. A long and complicated runic inscription covers most of the stone. It recounts myths and legends, as well as the history of the Varin family. A nearby exhibition provides explanations in Swedish.
