St John the Baptist's Church of Grandson
The Green Guide
The Michelin Guide's review
This interesting half-Romanesque, half-Gothic church is depicted by a nave covered in a very simple semi-circular arch, flanked by vaulted, half-barrelled aisles; 12C capitals adorn the monolithic columns, probably remains of ancient Roman sites. The north and south chapels are decorated with 15C frescoes. Resonance pots are an interesting curiosity of the church.
