The Michelin Guide's review
Île aux Cerfs, an inhabited island with crystal-clear waters, is nowadays invaded by droves of tourists and polluted by the non-stop back and forth of noisy and dangerous motorboats. It has lost much of its charm, even if it remains very popular for picnics on Sundays. However, just a short distance from the landing stage there is a long, pleasant beach with plenty of small deserted creeks. Beware of the currents: certain spots can be dangerous.
