The Michelin Guide's review
The town of Grand Falls is aptly named after the 1.5km/1mi-gash in the plateau created by the massive St. John's River as it is brutally engulfed in a deep gorge, forming an awe-inspiring waterfall. The gigantic scale of the gorges can be best observed from two viewpoints. Upstream, the river marks the border between New Brunswick and the American state of Maine.
