The Michelin Guide's review
To the east of the royal palaces, the Jardines del Partal (20C) descend in terraces towards the wall. The Nasrid aristocracy resided in this part, and some of the towers are little palaces in their own right. The first is the Ladies Tower (Torre de las Damas), with a graceful artesonado portico, built by Yusuf I in the early 14C. On the right is the Mihrab Tower (Torre del Mihrab) and the old Nasrid mosque. Further on, the Captive's Tower (Torre de la Cautiva) is from the same era, and the Princesses Tower (Torre de las Infantas) dates from the late 15C.
